Way back in 1904,
a road house was opened to serve the weary merchants
and farmers travelling between the farms that once occupied
this area and the bustling markets in the city. Today,
as the Fireside's most recent proprietors, we remain
dedicated to carrying on the 98-year tradition of good
food and friendly hospitality.
And, like the innkeepers of old, our
primary interest is in serving our customers.
So, if you have any special request,
either in the way your food is prepared or perhaps a
dish not shown on our menu, please feel free to ask
your host.
